Tandem is Sanpapié’s Festival, directed by Lara Guidetti, Sanpapie’s choreographer
and artistic director, dedicated to both Italian and international emerging
artists that are invited to share a night on stage with the Company at the Spazio Mil in Milan, where Sanpapié leads a residency project together with two other companies (www.residenzapul.wordpress.com)
In the past two years different groups and artists had the opportunity to open the presentation
of the Sanpapiè’s new production, having the opportunity to face an audience, in order to test their new production.
During the first edition (2009) Sanpapié hosted Milanese emerging companies such as Opera
di Polvere Cleancorner and Lybrati Pensieri, an Italian young group directed by international choreographers
named Fattoria Vittadini, and the Amsterdam Dansmakers choreographer Matteo Graziano.
The second edition was open to the theatre world thanks to the Colaps, Milanese Company,
participation and got an international flavor thanks to the involvement of the
Conservatorio Fortea de Madrid. We put the accent on the importance of keeping the
connection with Tandem’s partners inviting for the second time both Fattoria
Vittadini and Cleancorner.
